Rachel Kagay
Harmony. Maximizer. Woo. Belief. Responsibility.
Hey there! I’m Rachel.
I believe deeply that everyone is uniquely gifted with talents the world needs. It’s my privilege to serve others to cultivate their gifts, become equipped for leadership and engage themselves and others in life and work.
The daughter of an agriculture teacher and an agricultural salesman, I credit my upbringing in rural Missouri with much of my success. My passion for personal leadership development started early, through active participation in 4-H and FFA. This upbringing also instilled a value for hard work, a heart of service, and a love for agriculture, education, and civic engagement. I’m incredibly thankful for this start, which led me to the work I’m honored to do today.
I hold two degrees in Agricultural Education from the University of Missouri (GO TIGERS!). It was at the University that I was able to hone my talents and further the develop the craft of connecting with an audience and creating engaging and impactful learning opportunities.
I’ve been speaking and facilitating to audiences across the Midwest for 13 years. Early in my career, I had the opportunity to serve as Leadership Development Manager for the FFA Enrichment Center in Ankeny, Iowa. During that time, I designed the programming and services offered through the facility from the bottom up. I facilitated leadership development training, management coaching, and employee engagement sessions for hundreds of youth and adults. Today, I’m proud to apply that experience to benefit my clients and accelerate their growth.
As a Gallup® Certified Strengths Coach for more than 5 years, I never stop sharpening and refining my skill in creating opportunities for individuals, managers, and teams to maximize their impact. I believe that great leaders never stop learning. As a consultant, it’s always my first priority to move my clients beyond concepts and theory to actionable strategies and results.
Leveraging my CliftonStrengths (Harmony, Maximizer, Woo, Belief and Responsibility), I excel at bringing people and teams together, cutting through conflict and "hearing" what isn't being said. You can count on me to bring great attention to detail and an unparalleled commitment to my clients as I serve as a partner in producing results.
When I’m not working as a consultant, most days you can find me in our rural town of Maysville, Missouri. I’m a farm wife, momma to two toddlers, and active member of our Church and community. I love connecting with people, agriculture, and family. You might also find me working with our local FFA chapter or volunteering my time with the Community Foundation of Northwest Missouri.
I’m grateful you are here. It would be my honor to serve you as your next coach, consultant or speaker.
